The Asus ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet has been unveiled a year after the Taiwanese electronics company launched the Asus ROG Flow X13. To recall, the Asus ROG Flow X13 is a super thin and light gaming laptop that packs a 35-watt AMD Ryzen 9 processor under the hood. Now, Asus has introduced a new model that replaces the previous-gen Ryzen 5000 series processor with the newfangled Ryzen 6000 series chip that has Zen 3 CPU cores.
The recently unveiled Windows-based gaming tablet from Asus could give the more popular iPad Pro gaming tablet a run for its money, according to The Verge. The publication suggests that Asus’ gaming tablet is likely to deliver similar powerful performance as the iPad Pro. The Asus ROG Flow Z13 was announced at CES 2022. In a bid to go toe-to-toe with other popular tablets available in the market, Asus replaced the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 built-in graphics with the more powerful RTX 3050 Ti. As a result, the new tablet can offer ray-tracing support without requiring an external graphics card. However, the new tablet has retained an XG port that comes in handy for connecting an Asus XG Mobile graphics dock for additional graphics horsepower.
