Specifications
The landing page suggests that the iQOO 9 Pro will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. Aside from that, the phone will use a 4,700mAh battery to draw its juices. iQOO launched the iQOO 8 in August 2021 in China. However, the company did not bring the iQOO 8 series phones into the Indian market. Now, a report suggests that the company will be revealing more details about the iQOO 9 Series at the impending BGMI Series final.
To recall, the iQOO 8 sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The iQoo 9 Pro, on the other hand, features a larger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED curved display with Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The iQoo 8 smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Whereas, the iQoo 9 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
This isn’t the first time iQOO has adopted this strategy. In 2021, the company launched the iQOO 7 and the iQOO Neo 5 5G in India. Moreover, the brand launched the Chinese version of the iQoo 7 in the country with the iQoo 7 Legend moniker.
