The Oppo A16K smartphone’s India launch might be right around the corner, after the phone went official in the Philippines in November 2021. Oppo is on a launch spree. The Chinese consumer electronics giant unveiled the OnePlus 10 series smartphones at CES 2022. Aside from that, the company took the wraps off its maiden foldable phone dubbed, the Oppo Find N. In addition to bringing the aforesaid flagship models into the high-end market, Oppo has a wide range of more affordable handsets available in the global market.
Now, a noted tipster suggests that the Oppo A16K is slated to launch in India soon. While nothing is set in stone yet, a report by Digital Trends suggests that the phone could launch in the country in the first or second week of January. Furthermore, the leaker has shed more light on the Oppo A16K smartphone’s India price.

According to the Oppo A16K poster, the handset will be available in a single memory, and storage configuration in India. The phone will ship with 3GB of RAM and offer 32GB of onboard storage capacity. Moreover, Mahesh Telecom suggests that the Oppo A16K will retail for INR 10,490. Aside from that, the poster indicates that the phone will be available in Blue and Black color options.

Upfront, the A16K sports a mammoth 6.52-inch LCD display with HD+ (1600 x 720 pixel) resolution and pixel density of 269ppi. Furthermore, the screen delivers a refresh rate of 60Hz, coupled with a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and 480 nits brightness. The screen has a waterdrop notch and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for additional protection. Under the hood, the phone packs a powerful octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and a competent IMG GE8320 GPUIMG GE8320 GPU.
Moreover, the phone has 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The phone has a micro-SD card slot that comes in handy for expanding the built-in storage up to 1TB.
