After a rather long and painful wait at the end of last year, Samsung announced that it was ready to report on the work done and present a proprietary chip with AMD graphics. The release date was specified as January 11th. Today we would finally know if Samsung was able to create a worthy competitor to flagship processors from Qualcomm or Apple, or not.
But unexpectedly, a few days before the premiere, Samsung removed from social networks the mention of the upcoming release of Exynos 2000. It’s strange enough, but the company itself remains silent and has not yet made any statements about the prospects for the upcoming release. But it seems that the new chip is imperfect and needs improvement; so Samsung, which has been developing it for a couple of years, has to postpone the Exynos 2200 release.
Samsung postpones Exynos 2200 with AMD graphics
This was confirmed on his Twitter page by an insider Ice Universe. According to him, Samsung has decided to cancel today’s presentation on the launch of the Exynos 2200, postponing it indefinitely. And this is not the only processor that will not launch on time. According to the source, the Exynos 1200 presentation was scheduled for November, but the processor was eventually canceled. Recall that rumors circulated on the network that the Exynos 1200 will form the basis of the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy M33.
