1. Redmi Note 8 2021
The Redmi Note 8 2021 is still one of the best phones to get in this price range as it packs the powerful MediaTek Helio G85 CPU; along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The handset is also relatively compact phone with its 6.3-inch IPS display sporting Full HD+ resolution. Meanwhile for photos, we find a 48MP main camera; paired with an 8MP ultra wide lens, a 2MP macro camera a 2MP depth sensor. In the front, there’s a single 13MP snapper.
Finally, the Note 8 2021 comes with a not-so-big 4000mAh battery that supports a faster than average (for the price) 18W charging. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, infrared emitter and runs MIUI 12 based.
2. Realme C21Y
Next, we have the Realme C21Y coming with the Unisoc Tiger T610; along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable through microSD).
The Realme C21Y features a larger 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen though at a lower HD+ resolution with a 5MP selfie snapper in the notch at the top. On the back of the device finds its way a 13MP main camera paired with a 2MP portrait mode sensor and a 2MP macro lens.
Lastly, the C21Y by Realme is fueled by a large 5000mAh capacity battery; it features a 3.5mm audio jack and a rear fingerprint scanner.

3. Ulefone Note 12P

Another interesting smartphone in this price range is the latest Ulefone Note 13P which comes with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset; along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable).
The smartphone brings a 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 16MP front camera placed in the punch-hole at the top. Moving onto the back we find a 20MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture paired with a 2MP macro lens.
Finally, the Ulefone Note 13P packs a 5180mAh; along with NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.
4. Doogee N40 Pro
If all you care is raw power, the Doogee N40 Pro is the most powerful handset on the list sporting a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset; along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable). While for the display, it brings a large 6.52-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution.
As for photography we have four rear cameras including a 20MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front there’s a 16MP selfie snapper.
Finally, the Doogee N40 Pro comes with a massive 6380mAh capacity battery and supports 24W fast charging.

5. Blackview A55
Last but not least, we have the most economical handset on the list at around $90 – the Blackview A55. The smartphone features a MediaTek Helio A22 CPU; along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable).
The A55 then packs a large 6.53-inch panel with HD+ resolution and a 5MP selfie snapper at the top. Meanwhile on the back we have an 8MP main camera and two more 0.3MP sensors.
Finally, the Blackview A55 comes packing a good 4780mAh, a 3.5mm audio jack and even NFC.
