At the Meizu new product launch conference this afternoon, the company officially makes a return to the smartphone market with the release of the Meizu 10. According to reports, the Meizu 10 is positioned as a “new benchmark for basic models”, featuring a lightweight, sleek appearance, safe and long battery life.
Meizu 10 – a pretty cheap entry-level smartphone
In terms of appearance, the new phone adopts the new logo of mblu. It uses a four-curved micro-arc design and a 6.52-inch waterdrop screen that supports facial recognition to unlock. Under the hood, the Meizu 10 comes with the UNISOC T618 SoC. This smartphone supports dual-card dual-standby as well as up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
In the camera department, this device comes with a triple rear camera setup. It has a 48MP main camera as well as a 2MP depth and another 2MP macro camera. On the front, this entry-level smartphone uses an 8MP camera that supports portrait beauty.

Meizu 10 also comes with a built-in 5000 mAh large battery that supports 10W charging. According to the company, under normal usage, the standard battery life is 2 days. Furthermore, this device uses the Flyme 9 lite (Android 11) system and supports infrared remote control as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone does not have a fingerprint sensor but comes with a face unlock feature.
According to Meizu, Flyme 9 lite is a cool system specially designed for basic devices and supports One Mind intelligent fluency optimization. It also supports large font mode, privacy protection, family guardian, and other functions.
In terms of availability, this smartphone is already available for pre-order in China. The Meizu 10 has three versions and its available in black, white, and green colours. The prices are as follows

- 4GB + 128GB – 799 yuan ($ 125)
- 6GB + 128GB – 899 yuan ($ 141)
