South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is getting ready to unveil its latest flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Usually, the company Galaxy S series flagships have two versions, Snapdragon and Exynos models. However, a recent report shows that the upcoming Galaxy S22 series will break this trend. According to SamMobile, the Exynos 2200 version of the Samsung Galaxy S22 will not be launched. This means that the Galaxy S22 series will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship processor only.
However, the report points out that Samsung will release the Exynos 2200 at a later date. However, a series of Samsung flagships will not use this processor. The Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, etc. will not use this chip. Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series may use the Exynos 2200.
According to reports, the Exynos 2200 integrates AMD Radeon GPU with a frequency of 1300MHz. It adopts a three-cluster architecture design similar to Snapdragon 8 Gen1, such as super core + large core + small core. The super core is Cortex X2, the large core is Cortex A710 and the small core is Cortex A510. In addition, Samsung Exynos 2200 is built on Samsung’s 4nm process.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series speculations
According to previous exposures, this series will come with a straight screen design. Thus, the overall design will not be significantly different from the previous generation products. However, it will come with some significant upgrades in the hardware configuration. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be very different from the other two in terms of style. The Galaxy S22 Ultra feels more like the Galaxy Note 20 series. Each generation has its own unique selling point. For many users of the old Note series, this will be a very attractive product.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will have a 120Hz refresh rate screen, 108MP main camera, stereo speakers, wireless charging, waterproof and other functions. These smartphones will also support a 5000 mAh large-capacity battery that supports 45W fast charging. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 series in early 2022 (most likely in February). Sammobile confirms that the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra Super AMOLED panels can reach the standard brightness level of 1200 nits. The peak brightness level of the screen of these two models can reach an astonishing 1750 nits. In contrast, the standard and peak brightness of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy Ultra is rated at 1300 nits and 1500 nits, respectively.
