The official-looking renders of the Motorola Smart Stylus and Folio Case for the Moto Edge 30 Ultra were originally shared by XDA Developers. To recall, the phone’s design and color variants were leaked online back in November last year via a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra render. Now, the new renders recommend that the stylus will come with wireless charging support. Furthermore, it will connect to the Moto Edge 30 Ultra via Bluetooth. Earlier reports suggest that the upcoming handset could pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood.

Aside from that, it can also serve as a mouse that features an external display. The Motorola Smart Stylus could offer exclusive features in collaboration with the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. For instance, it will automatically enable Bluetooth when a user removes it from the cover. The phone will display the charging status of the stylus post connection. Aside from that, the phone will notify the user when the stylus isn’t stored in the case for a long time.

According to the report, the Motorola Smart Stylus will charge wirelessly when kept inside the Folio Case. Past leaks suggest that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will sport an AOD (always-on display). The display of Folio Case will have a centrally aligned panel that displays information like the battery status and missed calls. Aside from that, the leaked Folio Case renders imply that users will not have to open the case to reject or answer calls. However, Motorola could launch the stylus with a different moniker.
