The iPhone 13 still sounds fresh new, but this can’t prevent the iPhone 14 details from being leaked everywhere. In fact, the first rumors started shortly after the iPhone 13 series release. As the months are passing, the leaks and rumors are intensifying. According to the rumors, Apple will bring four iPhone 14 models, however, the mini variant is leaving the show. An iPhone 14 Max (tentative name) variant will bear bringing the same specs as the regular iPhone 14, but with a display as big as the one in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Back in the last week, a rumor emerged stating that Apple will bring 120 Hz ProMotion displays to its entire iPhone 14 series. However, this does not seem to be the case.
According to a new report from Ross Young, Apple will keep its high refresh rate display technology exclusive to its Pro iPhones. As a result, only the iPhone 14 Pro and the 14 Pro Max will bring a display that refreshes dynamically until 120 Hz. According to the tipster, BOE Display is one of the main display suppliers. Apparently, it does not have enough LTPO display capacity and Apple will wait out at least another year to implement ProMotion on the vanilla iPhone models.
