The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone’s design renders and key specifications have been tipped before launch. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is reportedly prepping to launch the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in February. However, Samsung is still mum on its plan to launch the next Galaxy flagship series this year. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, past leaks hint at February 8 launch date for the much-awaited lineup.

Now, noted leaker, Ishan Agarwal has shared the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone’s official-looking design renders with MySmartPrice. These images align with past leaks. Aside from that, they provide more information about the upcoming Samsung flagship.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Design Renders
The much-awaited Galaxy S22 series smartphones have been subject to a lot of leaks and speculations lately. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S22, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone’s specifications were leaked earlier this month. If the recently surfaced Galaxy S22 Ultra design renders are anything to go by, the upcoming handset will adopt a rectangular boxy design. This outward appearance bears a striking resemblance to the now-dead Galaxy Note series. Furthermore, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer an S Pen support, much to the delight of those who miss the Note series. Moreover, the Galaxy S22 Ultra seems to have a slot to store the S Pen.
According to Agarwal, the S Pen will have a latency of 2.8ms. This is the lowest latency so far. Also, the images shed light on the device’s rear camera setup, which appears to house four cameras. Upfront, the phone sports a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display that delivers a 2K resolution (1440 x 3088 pixels). Moreover, the screen provides a refresh rate of 120Hz and has a hole-punch cutout at the top center to accommodate the 40MP selfie camera. The screen adopts the LTPO technology that enables it to toggle between 1Hz and a 120Hz refresh rate. Aside from that, the display has a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top for additional protection. A report by HT Tech suggests that all Galaxy S22 series smartphones will have Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
