Elon Musk is an excellent mass entertainer and showman who is able to turn his initiatives into a show. He got into the habit of shocking and tickling the nerves of a receptive audience with his attacks and statements. But then something happened that Musk himself did not expect. There was someone who decided to challenge him on the part of eccentricity.
19-year-old college student Jack Sweeney set up a Twitter account @ElonJet last June to track Elon Musk’s flights around the world. In this, he is helped by publicly available data from the US Federal Aviation Administration. He regularly publishes posts where he posts information about the location of the businessman’s private jet.
Such activity of the student did not please Elon Musk and he turned to him with a request to close his account, explaining that his activity poses a security threat to the businessman. The prospect of being “gunned down by a psycho” does not at all excite the inventor.
