The Nord 2T will reportedly succeed the brand’s well-received Nord 2 smartphone. Not too long ago, the OnePlus Nord 2T and the Nord CE 2 smartphones’ Indian prices leaked online. Now, a fresh piece of information has shed more light on the launch timeline of OnePlus’ hotly-anticipated Nord 2T smartphone, courtesy of 91mobiles.

Following their merger, OnePlus and Oppo are leaving no stone unturned in a bid to expand its already impressive portfolio. Last week, tipster OnLeaks suggested that a new Nord phone dubbed the Nord 2T is currently in the works. If this is true, the Nord 2T will be the first T-series phone for the Nord lineup. However, the Chinese smartphone company has kept details about the new Nord 2T smartphone under wraps. Now, reputed leaker, Yogesh Brar has confirmed the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone’s India launch timeline to 91mobiles.

According to Brar, the OnePlus Nord 2T will succeed the well-received Nord 2. Furthermore, the tipster claims that the OnePlus Nord 2T will launch in India between April and May. Aside from that, Brar revealed that the upcoming Nord phone could be priced between INR 30,000 – INR 40,000. However, given that the Nord 2T will be succeeding the Nord 2, the aforesaid price bracket is barely surprising. Nevertheless, the entry-level variant could carry a price tag of INR 30,000.
Brar claims that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Nord 2 CE smartphone on February 11. Furthermore, the leaker believes the phone’s price range will be between INR 25,000 – INR 30,000 at launch. In the meantime, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is reportedly prepping to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro in India next month. Aside from that, another Nord-branded phone is in the works. This device is likely to retail for less than INR 20,000 and could go official in July or August.
OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications
As mentioned, OnLeaks has divulged the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone’s key specs ahead of launch. Upfront, the phone is likely to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone will reportedly pack the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip under the hood. It will ship with 12GB of RAM and offer a hearty 256GB of built-in storage capacity. Aside from that, the smartphone will boot Android 12 out of the box with a layer of OxygenOS 12 on top.
In addition to that, a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging could power up the entire system, according to past leaks. For optics, the phone will reportedly house a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor at the back. For selfies, the Nord 2T will probably come with a 32MP shooter on the front.
