Samsung’s huge plan for the Galaxy S22 series revealed

Samsung Galaxy S22 series

According to reports, Samsung will start the Galaxy S22 series mobile phone reservations in South Korea on February 14. The company will commence pre-orders on February 21 and officially go on sale on February 25. The official prices of the smartphones in the series will be official later this month. However, there are reports that the new Galaxy S22 series price will be in line with last year’s Galaxy S21 series. The report claims that Samsung is neither increasing nor reducing the price. This is because the company has huge plans for the Galaxy S22 series, it plans to use this series to strengthen its market share.

Judging from last year’s prices, the starting price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 standard version will be 4,999 yuan ($786). Also, the starting price of the Galaxy S22+ will be 7,199 yuan ($1131), while the starting price of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be 9,699 yuan ($1524).

In the past 2021, although Samsung’s total mobile phone shipments still ranked first in the world, in the fourth quarter of last year, Apple successfully overtook Samsung to become the world’s first in terms of shipments due to factors such as the launch of new phones.

In addition to Apple, Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo are also eyeing Samsung. Xiaomi’s global market share in 2021 has begun to approach Apple, and if the shares of Oppo and Vivo are added together, it has slightly surpassed Samsung.

Today, the rise of Chinese mobile phones has made Apple and Samsung feel unprecedented pressure. The fact that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series does not increase its price is proof that the company is feeling the pressure.
