Recently, Xiaomi App Store released the statistics of privacy violation App submissions in January 2022. There were a total of 1032 compliant apps. For comparison, in December 2021, the Xiaomi App Store tested a total of 1,189 compliant apps, rectified 1,020 apps within a time limit, and removed a total of 104 apps. It will give priority to allowing developers to make rectifications by themselves within the specified time limit. Xiaomi successfully registers the “XIAOMI PAY” trademark
Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. application for registration of the “XIAOMI PAY” trademark status now has approval. Back in December 2021, the status of the application changed from pending to registered. The international classification is financial property management and the trademark application was in April 2021. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi has previously applied for a number of “MI PAY” trademarks. As of now, the company already has approval for the application of the international classification. However, this is the first time that it is getting approval for a financial property management application.
