Transsion Holdings company Infinix keeps its race to become a relevant brand in India. Today, the brand behind some interesting smartphones is bringing its first-ever 5G smartphone to the market. The device comes under the Zero series and comes with the simple Infinix Zero 5G moniker. It was launched across global markets back in the last week. Now, and as expected, Infinix is introducing it to the Indian market, and we have to say, that the specifications are quite attractive. Without further ado, let’s dive into the specifications brought by this excellent smartphone.
Infinix Zero 5G specifications
The Infinix Zero 5G is one of the few smartphones in India featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. This chipset brings cutting-edge technologies. For instance, it’s built on a 6 nm fabrication process. The chipset brings two ARM Cortex-A67 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 power-efficient cores clocked at up to 2 GHz. The device also has 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also packs virtual RAM memory expansion. The company is calling it MemFusion and it’s also available on devices from its sister company Tecno.
Gizchina News of the week
The specifications come around a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 2,460 x 1,080 pixels of resolution. The device brings a punch-hole design and its screen refreshes at 120 Hz. The design includes a uni-curve finish and there’s a stunning camera module that resembles the Oppo Find X3 series. The device will be sold in two distinct colorways. In terms of battery, it draws its powers from a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging.
As for the camera department, the triple-setup brings a main 48 MP main camera. Interestingly, the device shines in the camera department when compared to other mid-range phones. It brings a 13 MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom and 30 x digital zoom. Unfortunately, it seems to lack an ultrawide camera but brings a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie shooter is a 16 MP snapper with a dual-LED flash. The camera is capable of 960fps slow-mode video recording.
Other features include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and a micro SD card slot. Unfortunately, the device still runs Android 11 OS with XOS 10. Hopefully, an update to Android 12 will arrive in the future.
