The upcoming Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G smartphone’s full specifications have been revealed, but its price in India is still a mystery. Motorola is on the verge of unveiling its maiden flagship phone in India. Moreover, the Lenovo-owned company is likely to take the wraps off the Edge 30 series on February 24. The word on the street is that Motorola will launch a rebadged Edge X30 as the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G.
Not too long ago, the upcoming smartphone’s India price was tipped. Now, 91Mobiles has revealed the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G smartphone’s full specifications, in collaboration with a noted leaker. Aside from that, the publication has shed light on a myriad of other vital pieces of information.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected)
Reliable leaker Yogesh Brar has confirmed to 91Mobiles that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 144 refresh rate. On top of that, the screen will offer HDR10+ support. The screen will reportedly have a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection. Likewise, the rear panel will have Gorilla Glass protection as well. However, it is worth mentioning here that the phone will come with a plastic frame. The side edge will house a fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Yogesh predicts that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G will pack the latest Snapdragon Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm. Furthermore, he claims that the phone will ship with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offer 128GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage capacity. Aside from that, the phone’s 5,000mAh battery unit will support 68W wired charging. The phone will boot Android 12 with MyUI custom skin on top. Also, Motorola is assuring two years of promised Android updates. In other words, the Edge 30 Pro 5G will receive Android 13 and 14 updates when they roll out.
What Else To Expect?
In the photography department, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will house three rear-mounted cameras. This triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP OmniVision OV50A40 main camera with an f/1.79. In addition to that, the phone will come with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth camera at the back. Upfront, the phone will feature a 60MP shooter for video calling and capturing selfies. Moreover, the front shooter will be placed inside a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout on the display. The Edge 30 Pro is likely to ship with a special folio case and a slew of stylus accessories.
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G offers a slew of connectivity options like GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6E, and 5G. In addition to that, the handset comes with a USB-C port that enables users to charge the device and transfer their data. The phone supports thirteen 5G bands. According to Yogesh, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G will be available in India in Cosmic Blue color option. However, it will launch in two color options globally. Moreover, a report by GizmoChina suggests that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G smartphone’s price in India could be somewhere between INR 45,000 and INR 50,000.
