An alleged Oppo F21 Pro+ smartphone’s live image has popped up on the internet, giving us a glimpse of the handset’s rear design. Back in December, the rumor mill began to churn out speculations surrounding Oppo’s plan to new handsets in India. These smartphones were tipped to arrive with the Oppo F21, F21, and F21 Pro+ monikers in the country. Moreover, the Oppo F21 series is reportedly set to launch in India in March 2022.
Now, the Oppo F21 and F21 Pro+ smartphones are likely to arrive in India sometime between March 17 and March 21. However, the Oppo F21 Pro is likely to debut sometime later. To recall, a report by 91mobiles back in 2020, indicated that the Oppo F21 Pro will launch in India before Diwali. Regrettably, these speculations didn’t turn out to be true. Moreover, industry sources told the publication that the F21 series will launch towards the end of Q1 2022. Now, an alleged Oppo F21 Pro+ live image has been spotted online, showing off the device’s design before launch.
Oppo F21 Pro+ Live Image Leaked
Taking to Twitter, noted leaker Abhishek Yadav shared a live image of the Oppo F21 Pro+ smartphone. Moreover, the images reveal that the phone has a triple camera setup at the back. Aside from that, it shows that the phone’s bottom accommodates the bottom-firing speakers, microphone, and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, the F21 Pro+ seems to draw inspiration from the Oppo A96 5G in terms of design. Also, it confirms that the phone will launch in a black color option. However, Oppo is likely to announce more color variants at launch.

The Oppo F21 is likely to retail for anywhere between INR 20,000 to INR 30,000. In other words, the F21 Pro+ is likely to carry a slightly steeper price tag than the standard F21 model. Oppo unveiled the F19 Pro+ 5G in March 2021 and rebranded it as the A95 5G in April. However, while the former came with 50W fast charging support, the latter supported 30W fast charging. Moreover, the company launched the Reno6 Z globally in July last year. Most of the specs were similar to the F19 Pro+ (A95 5G).
Oppo A96 5G Specifications
So, it seems safe to assume that the F19 Pro+ 5G could be the Oppo A96 5G smartphone with minor changes. It sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 16MP front shooter for selfies. Aside from that, the phone houses a 48MP main camera and a 2MP dual-camera unit at the back. Also, the phone packs the Snapdragon 695 chipset under the hood. It ships with 8GB of RAM and offers 256GB of onboard storage capacity. A 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support powers up the handset. Lastly, the upcoming Oppo Reno 7Z will reportedly be similar to the A96 5G and F21 Pro+.
