Earlier this month, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G went on its first sale in India. The new OnePlus mid-range smartphone costs less than INR 25,000 in the country. Moreover, the phone houses three rear-mounted cameras, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC.
Now, it looks like OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro in India, along with a slew of other markets. This would be another premium offering from the Chinese smartphone company that will draw power from the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. Regrettably, details about the phone’s official moniker are still scarce. However, the purported OnePlus smartphone’s specifications have popped up on the internet. According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC under the hood. However, MediaTek is still mum on the key details of its much-awaited smartphone chipset. Nevertheless, the company is likely to divulge some details about its premium chipset for smartphones in the coming days. Taking to Twitter, leaker Mukul Sharma shared a screenshot of the aforesaid post by DCS, which sheds some light on the upcoming handset’s specs. First off, the leak claims that the phone will sport a 6.7-inch OLED pane that will deliver a Full HD+ resolution. Aside from that, the screen will have a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. For optics, the phone will feature a 50MP main camera at the back.
What Else To Expect?
Furthermore, the leaker claims that the new OnePlus phone will house a Sony IMX766 camera like many other phones from the brand. Aside from that, the rear panel could accommodate three cameras. Morever, the phone is likely to draw its juices from a 4500mAh battery. This cell could support an impressive 150W fast charging. The rest of the specs are still a mystery. However, MySmartPrice suggests that more details are likely to be revealed soon.
Interestingly, OnePlus has not officially confirmed that it is working on a smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. Considering that DCS has a reputation for providing accurate leaks, there is a possibility that the aforesaid specs could be true.
