The Redmi Note 11E 5G smartphone has been launched in China under the Xiaomi sub-brand’s well-received Note 11 series. The newly launched 5G-ready phone is the sixth entrant in the Note 11 lineup. The series comprises the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G smartphones. The Note 11E 5G carries a reasonable price tag in China.
Under the hood, the 11E 5G packs a Dimensity processor. For optics, it houses two cameras at the back. The phone’s rectangular module features two cutouts to house the sensors like some of the Oppo smartphones. Aside from that, the company has also unveiled the Redmi Note 11E Pro in the country. The phone retains the same specs of its counterpart, according to a report by GSM Arena.
The Redmi Note 11E 5G is a budget smartphone that offers two storage options. The base model ships with 4GB of RAM, carrying a price tag of CNY 1199. Likewise, the slightly larger 6GB RAM variant will set you back CNY 1299. Also, both models have 128GB of onboard storage capacity. The Redmi Note 11E Pro, on the other hand, costs CNY 1,699 for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model.
Alternatively, you can go for the 8GB RAM model if you are willing to shell out CNY 1,899. The highest-end model comes with 8GB RAM+256GB storage and carries a steep price tag of CNY 2,099. It will go on sale starting from March 4.

The Redmi Note 11E Pro sports a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1080×2400 pixels resolution. Furthermore, the phone has a Snapdragon 695 chipset. In the photography department, the Note 11E Pro houses a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone features a 16MP selfie camera. Also, the phone uses a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Furthermore, a new report suggests that the Redmi Note 11E Pro could turn out to be the Chinese version of the company’s Note 11 Pro 5G. The more affordable Note 11E 5G features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. For optics, the phone has a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP macro lens at the back. Upfront, the phone features a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Aside from that, the Note 11E 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery. However, details about its charging capabilities are still scarce.
Under the hood, the phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is paired with 6GB of RAM. Moreover, the handset offers 128GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card slot. Also, the phone runs Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 on top. It is unclear whether Redmi will launch smartphones outside China.
