Much to the chagrin of Google fans, the Google Pixel 6A, and the Pixel Watch launch have reportedly been delayed. The Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro are the search engine giant’s current flagships. Meanwhile, the rumor mill has been churning out speculations around a more affordable smartphone dubbed the Google Pixel 6A for a long time. An earlier report indicated that the Pixel 6A could go official in May 2022 at the I/O conference.
However, a fresh piece of information from a noted leaker suggests that the tech behemoth is facing issues related to the chip shortage and supply chain. As a result, the Google Pixel 6A smartphone’s launch has been reportedly pushed back to around July 2022. According to a tweet by Jon Prosser, the Pixel Watch will be making its debut on May 26 as earlier reports indicated. In other words, the upcoming Google smart wearable is currently on track for its scheduled launch. However, the tipster suggests that could change, and its launch date could change.
