The Realme GT Neo3 has been floating in the rumor mill for quite some time. One time that Realme has launched its flagship series, it’s time for the company to focus on the flagship-killer or affordable-flagship segment. The company has marked its presence in this particular range thanks to the excellent Realme GT Neo series. Several months have passed since the Realme GT Neo2 release, and the original Neo is about to complete one year. It seems to be the perfect time for a new smartphone, and today, the company has confirmed that the Realme GT Neo3 is coming on March 22.
To recall, the company’s CMO Mr.Xu Qi Chase gave the first official look at the Realme GT Neo3 and revealed the phone will launch in China in March. Now, we’ve learned that the smartphone will be introduced on March 22. The company will launch the special Realme GT Neo3 Le Man’s version on the same day. it will come with Blue and White colorways.
Le Mans Edition
The Realme GT Neo3 Le Man’s version comes with two stripes spanning across its length. The company’s logo and tagline sit at the bottom. Interestingly, the design is inspired by the racing stripes on sports cars. It represents the phone’s performance and speed. Interestingly, we’re seeing a tendency on smartphone brands of partnering with carmakers or even launch “speedy” versions inspired by racing cars.
The Realme GT Neo3 Le Mans also pays a tribute to drivers of the Le Mans Race, especially the 1966 race. Putting the pain job aside, Realme’s official images also confirm the 50 MP camera on the Realme GT Neo3. The phone has a bottom-mounted USB Type C port, a speaker, microphone, and a SIM Card slot. According to rumors, it will lack the 3.5 mm headphone jack. But this is also absent on the Realme GT Neo2.

The phone has volume keys in the left-side frame, whereas the power button is first in the right. The sides are made of plastic or even polycarbonate. However, this needs confirmation. The phone may come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The two other cameras are likely an ultrawide snapper and a depth-sensing module. Based on “Realme’s usual setup” we expect an 8 MP ultrawide snapper and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Realme GT Neo3 alleged specifications
The Realme GT Neo 3 will bring the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. The teasers suggest a performance comparable to the Snapdragon 888. The phone will also be the first Realme smartphone to bring a blazing fast 150 W UltraDART charging. However, there will also be a variant with 80 W charging. According to the leaks, the one with faster charging is paired with a smaller 4,500 mAh battery. The one with 80 W charging gets a bigger 5,000 mAh battery. So it will be up to users to decide they will want a bigger battery or faster charging. Of course, we also expect pricing differences between the variants. There is also a chance that 150W will be exclusive to the Le Man’s variant.
According to the leaks, this will be the first Realme smartphone with a centered punch-hole display. The display itself will be an AMOLED with up to 6.7-inch and will offer Full HD+ resolution with 120 Hz refresh rate.
The GT Neo3 will run Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0. This launch covers China, and as per the rumors, the device won’t reach global markets until the second half of 2022. Of course, this is something that can change as time passes.
