The OnePlus 10R smartphone’s private testing has begun, suggesting that the handset’s India launch is around the corner. In the meantime, industry sources have confirmed to 91mobiles that OnePlus is prepping to bring the OnePlus 10 Pro into the Indian market before the end of this month. To recall, a myriad of vital information including memory, storage, and color variants of the OnePlus 10 Pro was tipped earlier this month.
Now, with the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone’s India launch on the cards, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to launch another smartphone in the country. However, the OnePlus 10R will probably go official in India after the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro launch in the country. The Oneplus 10R is in a testing phase ahead of its imminent launch. Moreover, the smartphone reportedly carries the codename “pickle.” Aside from that, details about the 10R are still scarce.
The OnePlus 10R is yet to launch in other countries. However, details about its specs, features, and price are still a mystery. It appears that OnePlus will not launch the vanilla OnePlus 10 this year, given that reports about only the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10R have been making the rounds online. On top of that, the rumor mill has been churning out a lot of speculations surrounding the upcoming OnePlus smartphones. For instance, the OnePlus 10R will reportedly launch in Q2 2022.

OnePlus 10R India Launch Imminent
If this speculation proves to be true, the OnePlus 10R could launch between April to June 2022. Also, the OnePlus 10R will be a mid-range smartphone with sufficiently good hardware. If past leaks are anything to go by, the smartphone will sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor under the hood. Also, the phone could ship with 8GB RAM and offer 128GB of onboard storage.

Aside from that, the 10R could run Android 12 OS with Oxygen OS on top. It is also likely to adopt the 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. Moreover, an alleged OnePlus 10R design render has been shared on Weibo and has been reshared on Twitter by noted leaker Abhishek Yadav. The teaser image shows the complete rear design of the upcoming smartphone. Moreover, it shows a rectangular camera module on the back.
In addition to that, the rear camera setup appears to house a LED flash. The phone sports rounded edges and a curved design. Lastly, the OnePlus logo appears in the middle of the rear panel. The teaser image shows the phone in green, sandstone black color option.
