Back in the last week, Asus has presented a bunch of new gaming laptops in India under the ROG Strix, FLOW, and TUF series. Now, the company is here to present something more oriented to the premium segment. The company is introducing a new fancy 2-in-1 product under the premium ZenBook lineup. The new laptop/tablet is dubbed ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED. As the name implies, that’s a new laptop with a 2-in-1 design and a gorgeous OLED display. Even in 2022, OLED panels aren’t something very easy to find on laptops. So, the ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip stands against the competition. Furthermore, it comes with Ryzen 5000 series processors.

To start things, let’s talk about one of the most interesting aspects of this device. The ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED flaunts a gorgeous 14-inch HDR OLED screen with a 2.8K resolution. That’s an unusual resolution that comes as a result of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. The panel has 10-bit color reproduction, 16:10 aspect ratio, 88 percent screen to body ratio, 550 nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut coverage. That’s a Pantone-validate screen. More than that, we have a 90 Hz refresh rate and TUV Rheinland blue light certification.

It’s a 2-in-1 product, therefore, the users can use it as Laptop, Stand, Tent, Tablet, or anything in between. Moreover, you’ll get touch screen support with a 4096 pressure level stylus. Design-wise, the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED comes with aluminum alloy and a 360-degree Ergolift hinge. The machine weighs 1.4 kg and is 15.9 mm thick.

Under the hood, the ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip comes with an AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor and three distinct configurations. There is a variant with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, Ryzen 7 5800H, and Ryzen 5 5600H. All three also feature AMD Radeon integrated graphics. Moreover, the laptop offers 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1 TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD storage. To keep the performance running without throttling, there is an efficient cooling system. The laptop comes with two heat pipes and two IceBlade Cooling Fans.

Under the hood, the laptop carries a 63 Whr battery unit with support for Type C 100W fast-charging. In terms of connectivity, the laptop comes with a couple of USB Type-C Gen 2, a USB Type-A Gen 2, an HDMI 2.0, a micro SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Other neat features include a backlit keyboard with 1.4 mm Key-travel, virtual Numpad on the trackpad, Harmon Kardon sound system. Furthermore, there is a 720p Webcam, Power Button with integrated fingerprint, Amazon Alexa support. It comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and Windows 11 straight out of the box.

ASUS has been building a more solid presence in the range of laptops in India. Meanwhile, the company has neglected the smartphone business with a very late launch for the ASUS 8Z.
