Apple’s services have already experienced two prolonged outages this week. The last of them was recorded on March 22 and the affected are Apple Music, the App Store, as well as podcast, fitness, weather, and other services.
According to available data, the failures yesterday lasted about two hours. It’s the second day in a row that Apple services are experiencing problems, something that doesn’t happen often for the tech giant. The first failures affecting many of the company’s services were recorded on March 21. Users complained about difficulties interacting with various Apple services, and the company later confirmed the occurrence of problems in the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud, and some branded applications.
According to available data, the failures affected not only Apple users, but also the company’s internal corporate systems. As a result, the possibility of remote work of employees was limited, as well as the conduct of some trading operations. Apple later told employees that the failures were related to the operation of the domain name system (DNS).
