The much-awaited Poco X4 Pro 5G smartphone’s India launch date has been officially confirmed by Poco India via a tweet. On Monday, March 21, Poco teased the Poco X4 Pro 5G smartphone’s imminent India launch. To recall, Poco announced the global launch of the X4 Pro 5G during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2022. It was widely considered as one of the best smartphones showcased in the recently concluded trade show.

Now, the Poco X4 Pro 5G smartphone’s launch date in India has been confirmed. Last month, the X4 Pro 5G made multiple appearances online in the form of leaked renders. Aside from that, the phone has been floating around the rumor mill lately. However, Poco has put all these speculations to rest. In its tweet, Poco India officially confirms that the Poco X4 Pro 5G India launch will take place on March 28.

The Poco M4 Pro is already available in the country. The 5G-ready Poco X4 Pro will debut at a virtual event. Furthermore, the company will live stream this event on its official YouTube channel starting from 12 PM IST (noon). According to a report by GSM Arena, the Poco X4 Pro 5G will be available in the country via Flipkart. Aside from that, Poco could share live tweets on its official Twitter account. during the event.

Notably, details about the Poco X4 Pro 5G specifications aren’t a mystery since the phone is officially available in multiple regions. The phone ships with a free YouTube Premium subscription in some markets. However, it is unclear whether or not the Poco X4 Pro 5G Indian version will come with this offer. Also, there is a possibility that the Indian model could come without NFC. Further, the teaser image sheds some light on the handset’s camera setup.

According to the image, X4 Pro 5G Indian version will house a 64MP main camera on the back. Interestingly, the original model features a more efficient 108MP rear camera. Moreover, the X4 Pro 5G is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. However, it carries a more affordable price tag and adopts a slightly different design. Nevertheless, the X4 Pro 5G retains all features of the Note 11 Pro 5G.
