Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra ITB variant will now be available in India, but it will set you back a pretty penny. Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in India last month. The series comprises the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones. The S22 series continues to garner popularity among Indian users, despite drawing flak for its throttling issue. Also, the phone has major GPS issues.

Moreover, this Galaxy S22 series features the first smartphones to launch in India with a flagship Snapdragon chipset. With this, the South Korean tech giant broke from its tradition of launching only Exynos-powered handsets in the country. Notably, the company launched the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 12GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+512GB storage variants. As if that weren’t enough, the tech behemoth has launched Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in a new 1TB storage variant in India.

Much to the chagrin of budget-conscious buyers, the Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB model carries a steep price tag of INR 1,34,999. Furthermore, this variant will be up for grabs during an exclusive sale event hosted by Samsung Live. For those who are unaware, Samsung Live is the company’s live commerce platform. The Samsung Live exclusive sale event will start at 6 PM IST on March 28. Moreover, customers who purchase the phone at the live sale event will qualify to purchase the Galaxy Watch4 for only INR 2,999.

For optics, the handset houses four cameras on the back, including an impressive 108MP main camera. Aside from that, the phone comes with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and two 10MP telephoto sensors. Upfront, it has a 40MP shooter for selfies and video calling. To recall, the Galaxy S22 Ultra did not impress us with its DxOMark scores.
