Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, has been struggling in the smartphone market. The United States claims that Huawei has ties with the Chinese government. To this end, it has issued a series of bans on the company, crippling the company’s smartphone business. According to Huawei, it is not competing in the smartphone market. The company is only trying to survive. Thankfully, the numerous bans did not stop Huawei from releasing smartphones. Due to these restrictions, the Huawei Mate 50 series, which was supposed to be released last year, did not meet its schedule.
While many netizens are waiting for this device, there have been a lot of disappointments because of the delay. However, in recent times, there more information regarding the Huawei Mate 50 series. Most of the speculations claim that this series will arrive in the middle of the year.
A few days ago, a report out of China claims that the Huawei Mate 50 series will officially arrive in July. The launch event will have the standard version as well as the Pro version of this smartphone. As for whether or not there will be Pro+ and Porsche versions, there is no official information yet.

Huawei Mate 50 series may not have Pro+ and RS Porsche versions
According to previous reports, there will likely be no Huawei Mate 50 Pro+ and Mate 50 RS versions. Instead, the Chinese manufacturing giant will likely release a collector’s edition. Furthermore, there is no report on the 5G compatibility as of now. There is a very high chance that this series will still support 4G.
The Huawei Mate 50 series will obviously have a better camera relative to the Huawei P50 series. The Huawei P50 series already have top camera which sat on top of DxOMark ranking for many months. Thus, the Mate 50 series will come with some serious camera capacity.
It is worth mentioning that Chinese tech blogger @DCS claims that the Huawei Mate X3 foldable smartphone will launch before the Mate 50 series. The engineering model of this smartphone uses two chip, K9000 and SM8425. These processors correspond to the Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G respectively.
As the flagship king, this series will inevitably come with the Harmony system. According to previous reports, the official version of HarmonyOS 3.0 will be official in July. This time also coincides with the current release time of the Huawei Mate 50. So far, the available renders of the Huawei Mate 50 series reveals that this series will come with a premium design.
