Gizchina News of the week
Vivo Pad alleged specifications
The Vivo Pad will launch on global markets, shortly after its launch in China. The tablet’s design image has been teased online already. We have a gorgeous display with thin bezels all around. It’s a flat display, and the edges of the slate are also flat. The right serves to house a power button and the volume rockers. Vivo is also interested in offering a deep and immersive audio experience. Therefore it has equipped the tablet with four speakers. Two are placed in the bottom part alongside the USB Type-C port. The other two sit at the top bezel of the tablet.
Moving around to the back, the Vivo Pad comes with a rectangular camera island. The device packs two snappers with an LED flash. The back of the Vivo Pad also brings connector pins for accessories such as the Keyboard. The variant here has a Blue colorway and supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
The possible – alleged – specifications
Unfortunately, Vivo has been keeping a low profile in regard to the specs of this tablet. Thankfully, these have leaked before through a multitude of leaks. It will be a premium tablet to compete with the likes of the Xiaomi Pad 4 series. Also, we can see some iPad Air influences here there, but the camera design screams its own identity.
Vivo Pad packs an 11-inch display, and rumors say it’s an OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. As per the leaks, the front-facing camera has an 8 MP resolution. The two rear cameras have 13 MP and 8 MP resolution, respectively. Therefore, we expect the secondary shooter to be an ultrawide snapper.
Under the hood, the Vivo Pad packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and we expect multiple RAM storage variants. The device draws its powers from a huge 8,040 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
