After Realme, OnePlus, and Oppo, it’s now time for Vivo to launch a bunch of new compelling products. The last sister in the BBK group will unleash a plethora of new products in the next month. The list includes the company’s first foldable handset – the Vivo X Fold, a new premium smartphone dubbed Vivo X Note, and finally the company’s first tablet. The new device will carry the Vivo Pad moniker and will play with the flagship segment. In fact, it will be placed in the same territory as the Xiaomi Pad 5. Today a new leak emerges confirming the entire set of specifications coming with this tablet.
Vivo Pad alleged specifications
The upcoming Vivo Pad will come with a massive 11-inch display with 2.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. For now, it’s unclear whether the phone has an OLED. It can still be an LCD as some companies use this as a cost-effective measure to keep the price low. After all, a massive 11-inch OLED display isn’t cheap. The device has Dolby Vision support which ensures an improved image quality.
Under the hood, the tablet packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset is still enough to handle flagship tasks due to its high capabilities and Adreno 650 GPU. A previously leaked banner confirms there will be 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB, or 256 GB of Internal Storage.

The Vivo Pad’s major disappointment will be in the software department. The slate runs Android 11 OS with OriginOS running on the top. Of course, we can expect an update with Android 12 for the slate. But that may take a little longer.
In terms of battery life, the Vivo Pad comes with a massive 8,040 mAh battery with 44 W fast-charging support. Judging by the previously leaked renders, the tablet will bring Quad Speakers with two speakers at the top and two at the bottom. The tablet has a flat design with a metal back. Interestingly, there is a dual-camera setup at the back. We expect a powerful camera joined by an ultrawide module.
The tablet will also bring connector pins for a Keyboard. The tablet will also support Vivo Pencil, for those who enjoy this kind of experience with the stylus.
The Vivo Pad certainly comes to compete in the Xiaomi Pad 5 and iPad territory. The device will be launched in global markets, and we are curious to see if Vivo will bring it to global markets. As aforementioned, the new products will be revealed on April 11.
