No smartphone comes without bugs. But most of them are fixed through future updates. It should be also true for the Google Pixel phones. Maybe it’s so, but not for the Google Pixel 6 series. We know that since its launch, we were always hearing about new issues concerning the signal, charging, display, etc. These bugs caused a lot of stir on the net.

Due to GCam, good hardware, and many exclusive algorithms, the Google Pixel 6 has been considered to be one of the best camera phones on the market. This is especially true for the Google Pixel 6 Pro, which not only boasts an additional camera sensor but also a bigger screen.

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs

Unfortunately, phones from this series encounter myriads of software issues. In the first months after the phones were out, there were several major updates. They ought to solve the existing problems. But things were getting worse and worse. Each new software update was adding a new bunch of bugs.

In fairness, the April Pixel update fixed almost everything on the phone. So now, the Pixel 6 series phones are thought to be from a different galaxy. We mean they differ a lot from what they were originally.

Of course, even now, you can still meet a bug on this phone. But it would be a surprise rather than a common thing.

Well, we already understood that with the latest update, the Google Pixel 6 has become an almost bug-free smartphone. But has its price changed? Usually, phones prices drop over time. So they become more affordable for an average customer. Surprisingly, this is not the case for the Google Pixel 6.

Particularly, in the US, the phones cost exactly the same as six months ago, when they were launched. In the UK, they even cost more. That’s why we follow the recommendation of TechRadar and don’t think it’s the right time for buying the Google Pixel 6 phone at the moment.

So if you wonder what is the right time for buying the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones, probably, there wouldn’t be a better option than the Amazon Prime Day 2022. If nothing accidental happens, it will fall in mid-July. So waiting for a few more months might help you save hundreds of dollars. Of course, there is always a possibility that this series won’t get discounts. But they won’t cost more.
