After much anticipation, Realme brought its April 7 event to India with many new products. The company introduced the Realme GT 2 Pro and the Realme 9 (4G) in the smartphone category. The first is the company’s flagship for 2022, while the latter is a new entry for the Realme 9 series with a 108 MP camera. In addition to these handsets, the company also unveiled new truly wireless earphones Realme Buds Air 3, and its new Realme Book Prime laptop. Last but not least, the company introduced its new Realme Smart TV Stick with Android 11 TV and Full HD 60fps support. In addition to the new products, the company’s VP, Madhav Sheth, confirmed that the vanilla Realme GT 2 will reach India on the company’s fourth anniversary. In the same form, the recently-released Realme GT Neo 3 will reach the country soon.

The Realme GT 2 can be considered an incremental upgrade over the regular Realme GT 5G, after all, it brings the same Snapdragon 888 SoC. Talking about the Realme GT Neo 3 it’s coming soon to the Indian market, but unfortunately, there are some missing pieces in this affirmation. The company mentions the smartphone’s name, but his post on Twitter makes us assume it’s the Realme GT Neo 3 in its Le Man’s version.

There is some mystery going on when it comes to the Realme GT Neo 3 release in India. After all, there are strong rumors suggesting that the upcoming OnePlus 10R will be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3. The OnePlus 10R is coming to the Indian market, or at least, there is a strong chance as the OnePlus 9R and 9RT were exclusive to India and China. We don’t know exactly what will be OnePlus and Realme strategies with this package of specifications. Perhaps, there will be subtle differences allowing for both companies to bring their devices to India.
Realme GT Neo 3 alleged specifications
The Realme GT Neo 3 is a strong contender for the market due to appealing specs. The device has the newest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip with ARM Cortex-A78 cores and a powerful Mali-G610 GPU. The phone brings a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
An interesting fact: It’s the first Realme phone with a centered punch-hole. There is a triple-camera setup. It comes with a primary 50 MP camera, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The phone comes in two variants one has a 5,000 mAh battery and charges at an 80 W rate. Meanwhile, there is a 150 W charging variant which cuts the battery size to 4,500 mAh.
Worth noting that the phone already bagged BIS Certification which is an important step for devices entering the Indian market.
