OnePlus 10R 5G Will Pack A MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX
To recall, a series of official-looking images of the handset had surfaced online not too long ago. These live images gave us a glimpse into the OnePlus Ace smartphone’s design. Moreover, they confirm the presence of a triple rear camera setup on the phone. On Friday, April 15, OnePlus confirmed that the 10R 5G will be the first phone from the company to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. This is a Dimensity 8100 variant that will be exclusive to OnePlus. However, it looks like the company isn’t willing to reveal the key difference between the MAX and non-MAX variants at the moment.
Nevertheless, the new SoC is likely to boast some notable changes as compared to the Dimensity 8100 SoC. Furthermore, the phone will be drawing its juices from a 4,500 battery that supports 150W SuperVOOC charging. Notably, this charging technology reportedly takes only 17 minutes to fully charge the phone’s battery. Moreover, the alleged live images of the OnePlus Ace have been shared by MyDrivers, suggesting that the phone will be available in two color options. Aside from this, it shows a triple camera setup in the upper left corner on the back.
Notably, the rear-mounted camera setup features an LED flash as well. Moreover, the volume rockers are available on the right side. Likewise, the power button is available on the left spine of the device. The OnePlus Ace will go official in China on April 21. Also, it will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, and offer 150W fast charging support. Regrettably, it will come without the OnePlus’ signature alert slider.
