The much-awaited Micromax In 2C smartphone’s key specifications has popped up on the internet, ahead of its official unveiling. Micromax could be on the verge of adding another entry-level smartphone dubbed Micromax In 2C under its well-received In-series. The handset made an appearance on Geekbench benchmarking website back in July. However, the Indian consumer electronics company has still not launched it. Now, noted leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has divulged the full specifications and revealed renders of the upcoming handset.
If the recently leaked renders are anything to go by, the Micromax In 2C will bear a striking resemblance to the Micromax In 1b. To recall, Micromax started rolling out the Android 11 update for the In 1b last year. Now, key details about the company’s upcoming In 2C smartphone have surfaced online. According to details shared by Sudhanshu, the Micromax In 2C will pack an Unisoc T610 processor under the hood. Moreover, it houses two rear-mounted cameras for optics. Also, the phone sports a mammoth HD+ display.

What To Expect?
As stated earlier, the Micromax In 2C appears to draw inspiration from the In 1b for its outward appearance. In other words, the upcoming Micromax phone will come with a large display that has a waterdrop notch and a big chin. The rear panel will feature a rectangular camera setup on the top left corner. Moreover, this camera setup will accommodate two sensors. Furthermore, the In 2C could be available in two color options including Grey and Silver. Earlier this year, another reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav had revealed some key specs of the In 2C, based on the handset’s BIS, Google Play Support, and Geekbench listing.

The Micromax In 2C has appeared again on the benchmarking website with a Geekbench 5 score of Single-Core Score of 345, and a Multi-Core Score of 1116. The handset sports a 6.52-inch display with HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 400nits. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor. Moreover, this processor is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. Aside from this, the phone ships with 64GB emmc 5.1 storage. Regrettably, the In 2C could come running the older Android 11 OS. The renders confirm the presence of a dual rear camera setup.
Moreover, this rear-mounted camera module includes an 8MP main shooter and a VGA sensor. Upfront, the phone reportedly features a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Furthermore, the phone will be drawing its juices from a robust 5000mAh battery unit that supports 10W charging. The word on the street is that the Micromax In 2C will come with a 3.5mm audio jack, Type-C charging port, and a micro-SD card slot. On the downside, the phone does not include a fingerprint scanner. Lastly, it will come with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
