OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a bunch of new smartphones in India. Tomorrow, the company will bring the OnePlus Ace to China, and a few days later, this device should be introduced as a OnePlus 10R in India. The direct sequel to the OnePlus 9R arrives with basically the same hardware as the Realme GT Neo 3 launched in China the last month. Interestingly, the Realme GT Neo 3 has two variants. One with a 5000 mAh battery and a “regular” 80 W fast-charging, and another one with a smaller battery capacity but astonishing 150 W charging. We saw many reports pointing to the OnePlus 10R in the latter variant, but now a fresh report suggests that Indian customers will be able to pick any of these two versions.

The company itself confirmed on Twitter, that the OnePlus 10R 5G is coming in both 80 W and 150 W charging variants. Of course, the technology is rebranded to SuperVOOC here rather than UltraDART. However, we all know that it’s basically the same thing as these companies share technologies. One time that the device is almost a 1:1 copy of the Realme GT Neo 3 we know exactly what to expect. The variant with 80 W charging brings 5000 mAh capacity, whereas the 150 W charging variant will have a smaller 4,500 mAh battery. According to the company, the phone can charge from zero to 50 percent in about five minutes with the 150 W charger. Unlike other brands, OnePlus will be including the charging brick in the package. The variant with 80 W charging will provide a full charge in 30 to 35 minutes.
OnePlus 10R specifications
Under the hood, the OnePlus 10R will pack a custom MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC. That’s a similar approach to what the company used last year with the OnePlus Nord 2. Rather than bringing a vanilla Dimensity 1200, the phone brought an AI variant. We are curious to see how this new tweaked version will stand in comparison to the vanilla Dimensity 8100. The phone will bring up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of Internal Storage.
The phone will pack a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support. There is a triple-camera setup with a primary 50 MP snapper. The other two are an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro module. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16 MP snapper. The phone will run Android 12 OS with OxygenOS 12 and will miss the alert slider. Unlike previous OnePlus phones, this one has a centered punch-hole.
While it’s a rebrand, the device tries to differentiate with a dual-tone back design.
