Oppo Pad India launch time, as well as its price in the country, has been tipped, despite the lack of official confirmation. Demand for tablets has skyrocketed over the past couple of years. This rise in demand for tablets can be attributed to schools and colleges conducting online classes due to the still-raging pandemic. Now, the market is teeming with all sorts of options including the Nokia tablet, Moto G20, Moto G70, Realme Pad, and more. Other tech giants like OnePlus, Vivo, and Oppo decided to follow suit.
While the aforesaid companies were all working on Android tablets, Oppo was the first brand to release its tablet dubbed the Oppo Pad back on February 24. Likewise, Vivo recently unveiled its maiden tablet dubbed Vivo Pad in China. Aside from this, the Dongguan-based tech company took the wraps off the Vivo X Fold, and the X Note smartphones. Now, the Oppo Pad tablet is on the verge of going official in India, according to a tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma. Notably, the leaker has shed light on the Oppo Pad tablet’s India launch timeline.

Aside from this, Mukul has revealed details about the Oppo Pad pricing in the country. He has even divulged some vital pieces of information about the upcoming Oppo Reno 8 series in his tweet. As stated above, Oppo launched the Oppo Pad tablet in China earlier this year. Now, the company is gearing up for the tablet’s impending launch in India. As per Mukul’s tweet, the Oppo Pad will launch in India either by June end. or in early July this year. Furthermore, he claims that the Oppo Pad tablet will retail for anywhere between INR 25,000 to INR 30,000 in India.

For context, the Chinese Oppo Pad model retails for CNY 2,299, which converts roughly to about INR 27,500. Moreover, the Oppo tablet could compete with the likes of the entry-level iPad. Likewise, it is likely to lock horns with the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 5 as well in India. Also, Mukul claims that Oppo will launch the Reno 8 series in India around the same timeline. However, it is worth mentioning here that the Reno 8 series hasn’t yet gone official in China, as per a report by MySmartPrice. The Oppo Pad features a large 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.
