It looks like the iQOO Z6 4G smartphone’s India launch could coincide with the much-awaited iQOO Z6 Pro 5G smartphone’s debut in the country. To recall, iQOO launched the Z6 5G smartphones in India last month. Now, the BBK Electronics-owned company will unveil the Z6 Pro 5G for Indian consumers on April 27. In a new development, details about the iQOO Z6 4G smartphone’s India launch date have surfaced online. In an interview with 91mobiles, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya confirmed that the 4G-ready phone will go official in the country later this month.
Marya told the publication that the iQOO Z6 4G smartphone will launch alongside the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G phone on April 27. Notably, leading smartphone brands have been launching both 4G, as well as 5G-ready variants of the same phone lately. Now, iQOO seems to have jumped on the bandwagon by launching two variants of the iQOO Z6 smartphone. In the meantime, the rumor mill has been churning out all sorts of speculations surrounding the new iQOO handsets. The iQOO Z6 4G and the Z6 Pro 5G smartphones will launch in India on Wednesday, April 27.

iQOO Z6 4G India Launch, Expected Price & Other Details
Despite the lack of an official confirmation, past leaks have shed light on the upcoming iQOO Z6 4G and Z6 Pro 5G smartphones’ specs and prices in India. However, it is worth mentioning here that the specifications of the 4G model are noticeably different from the 5G model. If rumors making the rounds online prove to be true, the Z6 4G will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers FHD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) resolution. Moreover, this display will deliver a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phone will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor under the hood.
The aforesaid processor will be paired with an Adreno 610 GPU for graphics. Furthermore, the 4G-enabled phone will ship with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It is likely to run Android 12 OS with a layer of FunTouchOS 12 on top. A recent leak has shed light on the upcoming handset’s storage, colors, and pricing details ahead of its India launch. The phone will reportedly come in Black and Blue color options. Furthermore, you will be able to choose between three storage configurations. Lastly, the report claims that it will retail for around INR 14,999, and go on sale in the country starting from May 4.
In the photography department, the iQOO Z6 4G smartphone will reportedly feature two rear-mounted cameras. This includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera on the back. Upfront, it has a 16MP shooter for capturing crisp selfies and video calls. Also, the phone could arrive with 4GB RAM+128GB storage, 6GB RAM+128GB storage, and 8GB RAM+128GB storage options.
