It looks like Vivo is prepping to launch two new T-series smartphones dubbed the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W in India in the coming days. Vivo currently has its hands full with the impending launch of the X80 series smartphones. Notably, the Chinese technology company will be launching the X80 series in its home country on Monday, April 25. Following the lineup’s debut in China, Vivo is reportedly planning to bring the flagship series into the Indian market as well. Aside from this, the company is prepping to launch the Vivo S15 series smartphones in China.
Now, the popular brand is also on the verge of bringing two new T-series devices to India. To recall, Vivo recently announced that the T1 series smartphones will arrive in Malaysia on Monday, April 25. An earlier report has shed light on the Vivo T1 Pro 5G smartphone’s launch timeline In India. As per the report, Vivo will launch the T1 Pro 5G smartphone in the country between April and May 2022. In other words, the lineup could go official in other regions outside China in the coming days.

In a new development, India Today has divulged some vital pieces of information about the upcoming Vivo smartphones’ launch in India. As per the report, the two Vivo series T phones will hit the store shelves in India in May this year. Both the Vivo T1 Pro and Vivo T1 44W smartphones will sport an AMOLED display. Moreover, the handsets will reportedly pack Snapdragon SoCs under the hood. The Vivo series T currently includes the Vivo T1 5G, which carries a price tag of INR 15,990. Now, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W will be the latest entrants in this lineup.

Furthermore, the Vivo T1 Pro will probably come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. Also, it is likely to sport an AMOLED display that offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits. For optics, the handset houses a 64MP super night main camera on the back. Regrettably, details about the handset’s battery capacity are still scarce. Nevertheless, past leaks suggest that the battery will support 66W fast charging. Aside from this, the phone will use an eight-layer liquid cooling system to ensure the thermals are under check. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G recently made its appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
According to the Geekbench listing, the phone will boot the latest Android 12 OS. Moreover, it suggests that the phone will ship with Snapdragon 778 5G SoC, and pack 8GB of RAM. Likewise, the vanilla Vivo T1 44W could feature an AMOLED display. The phone will reportedly use a Snapdragon 680 SoC to draw its power. Aside from this, it has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Further, the two upcoming Vivo phones will reportedly run Android 12 with Funtouch OS on top.
As far as availability is concerned, the two Vivo handsets will go on sale through Flipkart in India. Furthermore, the Vivo T1 Pro could retail for around INR 25,000. The Vivo T1 4G, on the other hand, could set you back INR 15,000.
