Much to the delight of its huge customer base in the country, Vivo has launched the Vivo T1 5G, and Vivo T1x smartphones in Malaysia. Vivo brought two of its hotly-anticipated smartphones dubbed the T1 5G, and the T1x into the Malaysian market on April 25. For those who are unaware, the T1 series includes three smartphones that you can choose from. Aside from this, you can purchase the smartphones for a special introductory price of just RM649. In the meantime, Vivo is reportedly gearing up for the impending India launch of the T1 Pro, and T1 44W smartphones.
Notably, the Vivo T1x is a lower-end model as compared to the T1 5G. Under the hood, the T1x packs a Snapdragon 680 chipset. Furthermore, it is available in two configurations including 4GB RAM+64B storage, and 8GB RAM+128GB storage variants. Also, the 4GB RAM model supports 2GB extended RAM, while the 8GB RAM model supports 4GB extended RAM. This entry-level smartphone packs a robust 5000mAh battery unit that supports 18W fast charging technology. Upfront, the phone sports a mammoth 6.58-inch LCD.

This display delivers an impressive FHD+ resolution. You can choose between two eye-catching color options including Space Blue and Gravity Black. For selfies, the phone features an 8MP shooter, which also enables video calling. Aside from this, the handset houses a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera. Moreover, this camera setup on the back comprises two 2MP cameras. The phone runs Android 12 OS with Funtouch OS 12 on top. However, the T1 5G does not retain the specs of the original Chinese model. This model comes with a Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, unlike the Chinese variant.
Furthermore, the T1 5G will ship with 8GB of RAM, and offer 128GB of onboard storage capacity. On the downside, it uses a smaller 4700mAh battery unit to draw its juices. This cell supports 66W fast charging. Likewise, the phone sports a slightly smaller display at 6.44-inches. However, this is an AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution. For optics, the handset has three rear-mounted cameras. These include a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor. Upfront, the phone has a 16MP snapper that comes in handy for capturing selfies and video calling. Moreover, the T1 5G runs Funtouch OS 12 too.
This dual-SIM phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a built-in vapor chamber cooling system. Moreover, a report by Lowyat suggests that it retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. The freebies promotion started on Monday, April 25, and will come to an end on May 24, 2022.
