iQOO is hardware and gaming-focused brand, however, it also manages to produce devices that are more cost-effective than other brands. For instance, we can cite the iQOO Neo 6 which continues the lineup with flagship specs and an interesting price. The iQOO Neo 6 was introduced earlier this year with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Now, the company is gearing up to introduce the iQOO Neo 6 SE. The iQOO Neo 6 SE is a cost-effective flagship that will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. There are also other compelling specifications such as 80 W fast-charging and 256 GB of Internal Storage. After leaks, the company confirmed this device’s launch for May 6.
The company will soon introduce the iQOO Neo 6 SE and started its teaser campaign. The device will, in fact, bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. To those unaware, this platform is based on the 7 nm manufacturing process and brings 1 x ARM Cortex-A78 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. The phone will bring 256 GB of Internal Storage, and we can expect it to be paired with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. The device will be able to handle anything on the Google Play Store. After all, this chipset has a very capable Adreno 650 GPU.

iQOO Neo 6 alleged specifications
The phone’s launch will happen in China on May 6 at 7:30 PM local time. As per the rumors, the iQOO Neo 6 SE will bring the same 4,700 mAh battery found within the original iQOO Neo 6. Even the charging capabilities will be the same which is really interesting. If you can afford the price asked for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, you’ll get a similar package with a less powerful chipset. The phone will bring a 6.62-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of around 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Furthermore, the phone will have a 120 Hz refresh rate. We expect the design to be fairly similar to the iQOO Neo 6. Unfortunately, details around the camera setup are still unavailable.
We certainly expect iQOO to keep teasing this device in the forthcoming days. The company does not keep a low profile when it comes to marketing its devices. Worth noting, that there is also evidence of another iQOO Neo 6 variant sporting the Snapdragon 778G. This one probably will be released later.
