The open sales will begin on May 4 via Amazon India and Tecno. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage.
Tecno Phantom X specifications
The Tecno Phantom X flaunts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, this panel comes with a 103 percent color gamut, curved edges, and a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. The display also houses an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the phone carries the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with an integrated Mali G67 GPU. Teno also uses a smart cooling solution that uses a heat pipe and covers 100 percent of the main heat. The handset offers 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and has 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. There is also a triple-camera setup with a dual-tone LED flash. There is also a dual-camera setup at the front. The phone brings a 48 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide snapper. Therefore, you can easily capture “groupies” with the front-facing snapper. The phone also packs a 4,700 mAh battery with a 33 W fast-charging support. The device offers a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The device comes in two colorways – Summer Sunset and Iceland Blue.
Pricing and Availability in India
The new Tecno Phantom X costs INR 25,999 in India. That is around $340 in direct conversion. If you don’t mind having a 12 nm-based processor in 2022, then the device has a decent set of specifications. However, there are better options for a little more. Interestingly, it’s not a surprise to see “better options” in the Indian market. After all, this is a device from mid-2021 and for unclear reasons, Tecno had to wait until now to bring the device to India.
