Two upcoming Vivo smartphones have been revealed across several listings in China. The duo of devices counts with the presence of the Vivo S15 Pro which carries model number V2203A, and a mysterious smartphone with model number V2207A. Both devices have appeared on TENAA certification. Unfortunately, for now, we only have the preliminary list of specifications. We expect the database to be updated in the coming days with images and more details.
Vivo S15 Pro and a mysterious device have been spotted
The Vivo S15 Pro will carry a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen. For now, there is no info on whether this panel refreshes at 90 Hz or 120 Hz. The device draws its powers from a 4,400 mAh battery that charges fast at a 66 W rate. In terms of software, the phone runs with Android 12 which presumably has OriginOS on top. The dimensions of the phone come in at 161.9 x 74.31 x 7.99 mm. The second smartphone in the listing, the Vivo V2207A comes with a smaller 6.56-inch panel. There is also a dual-cell 2,190 mAh battery, which means a total capacity of 4,380. However, the company will likely use the typical capacity of 4,400 mAh for marketing purposes. Interestingly, this phone has been spotted at the 3C certification. It comes with a faster charging standard providing 80 Watts. To those unaware, this speedy charging system is the highest one for Vivo smartphones in 2022.
Gizchina News of the week
The Vivo V2207A listed dimensions are 158.9 x 73.52 x 8.5 mm. As per the more recent rumors, the Vivo S15 Pro will carry the MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 chipset. It will also bring a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. Therefore, this seems to be Vivo’s response to the likes of the Redmi K50, OnePlus 10R, and Realme GT Neo 3. It may even be another device to compose the recently released Vivo X80 series. Only time will tell. We expect more details to keep popping out in the coming days.
Vivo S15e launched in China
Vivo has recently unveiled the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro. These devices come with the company’s latest technology in cameras, including the new-gen of its ISP. Furthermore, they are available in variants with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Dimensity 9000 SoC. However, we suspect that the global variants will pick Qualcomm as an option. Besides the Vivo X80 series, the company also introduced the Vivo S15e. The first variant in the Vivo S15 series comes with an Exynos 1080 SoC and further affirms Vivo’s partnership with Samsung’s chipset division.
