Vivo Y15C is coming with a Helio P35 processor and 5000 mAh battery

The Chinese company Vivo, according to online sources, will soon announce a mid-range smartphone Y15C based on a MediaTek hardware platform. The device does not support 5G mobile networks.

We are talking about using the Helio P35 processor. It combines eight Cortex-A53 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics controller. The chip includes an LTE modem (Cat-7 DL / Cat-13 UL) supporting Dual 4G VoLTE mode.

The smartphone is credited with having a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The equipment will include an 8-megapixel front camera and a rear camera with sensors for 13 and 2 megapixels.

Among other things, a side fingerprint scanner, 3 GB of RAM, a 32 GB flash drive and a microSD slot with support for cards up to 1 TB are mentioned. Power will be provided by a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone will ship with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12.

Vivo has expanded its range with a couple of smartphones from the same line – with a very similar design, but from different segments. The Vivo T1 starts at $190 and the T1 Pro 5G starts at $315. Of course, with such a difference in price, the specs also differ greatly. We are talking about differences in terms of the procrssors used; the screen size and quality, the amount of RAM and storage memory, the cameras and much more.

In separate news, the Vivo X80 series officially went on sale on April 29th. The flagship of this series instantly became the champion of multi-channel sales in the price range from $530 to $910. This smartphone was the top seller on China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, Suning.com, Gome, Dixintong and Jingdong.

The 8/128GB version of the Vivo X80 is $560, the 8/256GB version is $605; the 12/256GB version is $665, and the 12/512GB version is $740. Vivo X80 Pro with 8/256GB is $822, 12/256GB is $907, 12/512GB is $1010.

Vivo X80 uses a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E5 screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX866 RGBW sensor, and two additional 12-megapixel sensors. The 4500mAh battery supports 80W wired charging.

Vivo X80 Pro uses a 6.78-inch 3200 x 1440 screen. It runs the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with a 32 megapixel front camera; a 4700 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
