Realme already launched a bunch of Narzo 50 series smartphones. Now it is preparing the terrain for a new variant with 5G connectivity. The device will carry the obvious Realme Narzo 50 5G moniker and has been a target of leaks in recent weeks. We already know what the phone will look like thanks to a set of leaked renders. Now, a new render has emerged with a new blue colorway. The handset also had most of its specifications revealed. Realme probably won’t have much to reveal on May 18.
Realme Narzo 50 5G specifications
According to the source from where the image comes from, the device will have an 8 mm thickness. Furthermore, the rear panel’s design is inspired by the Kevlar speed texture. Some brands like Motorola already explored this kind of design with the Droid series. The Realme Narzo 50 5G will also come in a deep Black colorway, that is much darker than the one that appeared in previously leaked renders. In terms of specifications, the Realme Narzo 50 5G will carry the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. To those unaware, this chipset has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, plus 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz.

Interestingly, the company is also preparing a Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G variant. The device will also be disclosed at the company’s event next Wednesday. This variant will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC that has ARM Cortex-A78 cores but sports the same 6 nm manufacturing. Going back to the Realme Narzo 50 5G, the device will have at least one variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. The panel will have a 6.58-inch diagonal. It’ll be an AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
In terms of optics, the Realme Narzo 50 5G will come with a super-simple camera setup. It is said to come with a 13 MP camera and a 2 MP depth snapper. The selfie shooter will have either 5 MP or 8 MP resolution. It will run Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software and will draw its powers from a 4,800 mAh battery with 33 W fast-charging.
Realme will also introduce the TechLife Watch SZ100 at the event. The wearable has a 1.69-inch color display and has skin and body temperature monitoring as well as a heart rate sensor. Realme says that the smartwatch’s battery will offer 12-day endurance on a single charge. Unfortunately, the company didn’t reveal the battery size yet.
