The OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone has been launched in Malaysia. Let’s take a look at its price and availability in the country. OnePlus has launched a new smartphone in Malaysia under its Nord series. Notably, the officially confirmed Nord 2T specs corroborate past leaks. This mid-range device has been subject to multiple leaks lately. Moreover, it has been floating around the rumor mill for a long time.
To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2T went official earlier this week. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the global launch of the Nord 2T. OnePlus confirmed that the Nord 2T will launch globally on May 19. Also, it is the world’s first smartphone to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip. This processor offers notable upgrades over its predecessor, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200. It assures an overall powerful performance.
For those who are unaware, the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 uses the 6nm process of TSMC. It is an eight-core CPU and has four Cortex-A78s. One of the four Cortex-A78s acts as a super core. It delivers up to 3.0GHz main frequency. Moreover, the other four CPUs have a main frequency of 2.0GHz. Also, it packs an ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU for graphics. Now, it sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. Also, this screen offers a decent refresh rate of 90Hz. On top, it has a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.

OnePlus Nord 2T Goes Official In Malaysia
Aside from this, the Nord 2T ships with an LPDDR4X RAM. It also offers a hearty UFS 3.1 flash storage. The phone uses a 4,500mAh battery to draw its juices. Moreover, this cell supports 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. The new OnePlus Nord device boasts an impressive array of sensors as well. For optics, it houses a quad-camera setup on the back. This rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor. Also, it has an 8MP ultrawide camera. This is a Sony IMX355 sensor.
Aside from this, the Nord 2T houses a 2MP monochrome unit. Upfront, it has a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The handset runs Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 on top. It also features a Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It offers a superior listening experience with stereo speakers. Now, the OnePlus Nord 2T will go on sale in Europe on May 24. The 8GB RAM+128GB storage model will set you back €399 (about RM1,851). Likewise, the 12GB RAM+256GB storage model will retail for €499 (about RM2,314)
Regrettably, the OnePlus Nord 2T India launch date is still a mystery. However, past leaks suggest that it could cost between INR 35,000 and INR 40,000 in the country. The phone will be available in Jade Fog and Gray Shadow colors. It is unclear when the Nord 2T will hit the store shelves in Malaysia. The OnePlus Malaysia website does not list the Nord 2T yet. Nevertheless, it could go on sale in Malaysia through Lazada and Shopee.
