It was available with optional 12th generation Core H series processors, and i5 Core versions. Now, the company is preparing the terrain for the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 2022.
Next Tuesday, Lenovo will launch the small-sized Xiaoxin Pro 14 2022 notebook, and the official summary of the configuration information of this notebook today. The company is clearly trying to build the hype for the upcoming product. It’s not a gaming-oriented laptop but has everything conventional users will enjoy a laptop. It brings modern processors and a gorgeous display with a lot of pixel of resolution. Without further ado, let’s check out what the product will introduce to the market.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 specifications
Under the hood, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 2022 will come in two variants. There will be options with 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H CPU and Intel Core i7-12700H processors. The former comes with 12 cores, whereas the latter pack 14 cores. The core display is 80EU and 96EU respectively. The company is also investing in heat dissipation and is adopting the configuration of dual fans + dual heat pipes. We can expect DDR4 or DDR5 RAM to complete the package alongside SSD NVME storage. Unfortunately, we’ll only know the storage and RAM configurations by the release.

In terms of display, the laptop comes with the appeal. It packs a 14-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. The panel has a matte screen finish and offers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. There is also a 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 400 nits of brightness. The product also focuses on sleekness. It’s as thin as 14.6 mm and weighs just 1.3 Kg. According to the teasers, the weight is reduced by around 9 percent when compared to the previous generation.
The new Xiaoxin Pro 14 2022 brings a 1080p selfie camera with support for intelligent face recognition. The user will be able to unlock the screen simply by opening the lid. The camera will quickly recognize the user and unlock the interface. Worth noting that it also comes with a 1.3 mm keystroke keyboard, and the interfaces provide dual Thunderbolt 4 ports. According to reports, Lenovo will hold a new product launch conference for thin and light notebooks at 17:00 on May 24. It will also hold a new product launch conference for the Savior series at 18:00. For now, there is no word whether these products will reach global markets or will stay limited to China. While we’re not sure of Lenovo’s plans for global markets, the company’s Motorola is preparing the way for the new Fusion.
