Motorola officially confirmed that it’s working on a new foldable smartphone for its Moto RAZR series. Unlike previous iterations that had mid-range processors, the company has decided to go full flagship this time around. The Motorola RAZR 3 will leave the appeal to nostalgia behind and will bring a modern design and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. If launched before August, the Motorola RAZR 3 may come as the very first true flagship foldable smartphone of 2022. After all, the previous Oppo Find N and Vivo X Pad use older chipsets. The Motorola RAZR 3 has been leaking a lot lately, and today, we got a small hands-on clip showing the phone’s device.
Motorola RAZR 3 design revealed
The Motorola RAZR 3 has emerged in a quick hands-on video. The design seems to have changed a lot compared to the original Motorola RAZR 2019 and the RAZR 5G from 2020. The device no longer has the trademark RAZR chin at the bottom. As expected, it now resembles Samsung’s Flip design more than any previous RAZR. The Motorola RAZR will bring two main cameras, and also has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera on the inner folding screen. Apparently, the phone does not have absolutely any crease, which is a plus.
