A few months ago, Realmeintroduced the Realme GT Neo 3 as one of its most compelling devices for 2022. While the GT 2 series entered the flagship market, the Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a range of cost-effective flagships. The device boasts the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC which is on par with 2021 flagship SoCs. It also has a gorgeous AMOLED screen, and it’s the first Realme device with a centered punch-hole. The device comes in two variants with 80 W or 150 W charging. Interestingly, this package has been launched as OnePlus Ace and OnePlus 10R. Now, even the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ shares some similarities. Anyway, the Realme GT Neo 3 will still be the first one to bring this nice set of specifications. Today, it’s getting a new version in China.
Realme China announced that there is a new variant of the Realme GT Neo 3 that comes with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. The variant will have its price announced at 14:00 on May 26. We expect the pre-orders to start immediately after the announcement. The new variant will certainly add some appeal to customers, in special, those looking for a good gaming experience. The Realme GT Neo 3 comes with an X-axis linear monitor and offers support for 4D Game vibration.

Realme GT Neo 3 specifications
Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether the new variant will arrive in the two existing versions. As aforementioned, the Realme GT Neo 3 comes in two variants. One has a smaller 4,500 mAh battery but one of the fastest charging standards in the industry – 150W. The other option has a bigger battery of 5,000 mAh capacity and comes with 80 W charging, which is still very fast for those who prioritize capacity. We don’t know if the new option will be available in both trims.
The GT Neo 3 packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is also an impressive 1000 Hz touch sampling rate, for instant touch support. In terms of optics, the phone comes with a large 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP macro shooter. The front-facing snapper is a 16 MP camera from Samsung.
The device, just like the big majority of flagships, does not bring a micro SD card slot. Therefore, a variant with a whopping 512 GB amount, will certainly bring joy among enthusiasts of hardware. For now, it’s unclear whether this variant will reach global markets or not.
