The news comes from Taiwan’s DigiTimes, which received confirmation from HTC Vive Asia-Pacific CEO Charles Huang at the HTC MWC 2022 event.
The new HTC flagship will be the first since the HTC U12+, released back in 2018. HTC’s upcoming flagship will focus on augmented and virtual reality applications, and will support deep integration with HTC’s own open-source metaverse platform, dubbed Viveverse.
