In iOS 16, Apple has finally included the option to view your saved Wi-Fi password. According to MacRumors, the iOS 16 developer beta includes the ability to browse and copy Wi-Fi passwords to share with friends and family. To see a saved password, you must first authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode, after which you will get the opportunity to copy it.
If you own an iPhone, you know how difficult it is to exchange Wi-Fi credentials with a family member or acquaintance who owns an android device or a Windows laptop when they visit. You still have to look for the Wi-Fi password in the back of the router or on that old crusty piece of paper; where you shouldn’t be storing passwords anyhow, even though your phone is connected to the network. Once iOS 16 is available, the days of this familiar fight will be over.
As long as the individual attempting to join to your network also owns an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, Wi-Fi password sharing has been straightforward and simple on iOS. This modification will be available to everyone as soon as iOS 16 is official.

Apple is presently beta testing iOS 16 with developers, with a public beta expected in July. Along with a strong Live Text feature, shared iCloud picture libraries, and much more, iOS 16 features significant enhancements to the lock screen and communications.

Messages on iOS will also be better, according to Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of software development. There will be new features there, such as the option to unsend messages, mark them as unread; and edit them after they have been sent, among others.
Thanks to the enhanced dictation capability, the message set will also improve. At the same time, the keyboard will appear during voice input; allowing you to swiftly move between different input modalities. It’s worth noting that the algorithm can even dictate emojis.
Additionally, iOS 16 will have video text recognition; allowing you to not only translate on the fly but also save data in text format.
Apple spent a lot of time at the WWDC 2022 conference talking about how iOS 16 makes Apple’s devices more gaming-friendly. It turned out that it wasn’t just the Metal API or the new Game Center that were at blame.
More controllers are now available in iOS 16, including controllers for the Nintendo Switch. We’re referring to both the Joi-Con and the Pro Controller. Given that they are not totally independent controllers, support for the former is somewhat surprising. However, with the correct cover, the iPhone may be a Switch-like device.
