The Poco F4 will pack a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. According to Poco, the SD 870 is the most advanced Snapdragon 800 series chipset. This recently revealed piece of information coincides with a past leak. The word on the street is that the Poco F4 will be a rebranded version of a Redmi K-series smartphone. An earlier report suggests that the Poco F4 could be a rebadged Redmi K40s. However, Poco has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation.

Poco F4 5G To Come With A Snapdragon 870 SoC In India
Poco has confirmed that the Poco F4 will arrive in India with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Also, the new 5G-ready phone could launch in India soon. However, details about the Poco F4 India launch date are still scarce. The phone was previously tipped to launch in the global markets as a rebranded Redmi K40S. Now, a slew of official-looking Poco F4 live images have surfaced online.
These leaked images suggest that the Poco F4 will house a 64MP main camera on the back. Also, the phone’s rear camera module bears a striking resemblance to Redmi K40S rear camera setup. However, the K40S houses a triple camera setup featuring a 64MP primary sensor on the back. Notably, the rest of the specifications of the Poco F4 could be the same as the Redmi K40S. So, the Poco F4 could come with an 8MP ultrawide camera. Further, it could get a 2MP macro rear camera.
Upfront, the F4 5G will probably have a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calling. This front shooter will be available inside the hole-punch cutout on the display. Moreover, the Poco F4 5G could sport a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display. This screen is likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, it will reportedly deliver a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution. It could come with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, as per a report by MySmartPrice.
Further, the upcoming Poco phone will reportedly ship with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Also, it is likely to offer up to 256GB of onboard storage. More details are likely to pop up in the coming days.
